Staying Alive: Mechanically speaking, player-controlled Scoundrels are very hard to kill: unless their players willingly let them die, it takes suffering a level 4 (i.e.Player Character: "Scoundrel" in this game refers primarily to the PCs even though they are not the only people referred to as "scoundrels" in-universe. ![]() ![]() However, if they still have 2 stress points to spare, they can push themselves to perform another action roll despite debilitating injuries (although doing so does not confer the extra dice/effect levels that pushing oneself normally does).
